Mamlaka chapel invited our choir members to perform on 3 services that were attributed to honoring the work of Dr. Thomas Barnardo.
Fistula Launch
Our main benefactor Dr. Ann Gloag visited in July for the Freedom From Fistula Foundation launch on 23rd July. Prime Minister’s wife Madam Ida Odinga was the main guest. She was seconded by Miss Kenya, Ruth Kinuthia to launch the new fistula buses. Hotline numbers 0718 100 000 and 0737 100 800 were introduced. This offers a fast and easy way for those afflicted or know somebody who is to get access to the free surgeries arranged for by the foundation. The launch was at Barnardo’s and the choir did a great fistula song led by Hellen Mtawali.
