Thomas Barnardo House is solely reliant on donations, therefore to help up us generate essential income for the children we initiated a few small income generating projects:-
Westminster Events Centre operations provide all services for top quality weddings and functions here in our grounds. We also supply outside Catering from our 4 star approved kitchens. We have a Poshomill where we make quality porridge flour and a Thrifshop at our Langata Road entrance. Other projects include the Bead Project, where the older children make beaded jewellery, Collection Tins in shops and our on-site shop Kenyatima which sells top quality gifts and goods to any visitors. Our most recent project is a Bakery where we make a variety of products for home consumption and also sell to the general public. We have a sales outlet at Kibera slums (Laini Saba).
All the proceeds from these projects help provide for the children here at Thomas Barnardo House.
